About the Journal
Lumora Saudi Journal of History and Arabian Heritage (LSJHAH) is a Saudi, quarterly, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal. Its first publication year is 2025. Historical research on Saudi Arabia, the Arabian Peninsula and their regional and global connections from antiquity to the present, including archival studies, oral history, historiography, archaeology, material culture, manuscripts, museums, heritage documentation, conservation history and digital heritage. The journal requires critical engagement with primary or clearly defined secondary sources. Contemporary cultural theory belongs in the cultural and humanistic studies journal, built-environment design in the architecture journal, and doctrinal Islamic studies in the Islamic scholarship journal.
The journal publishes original research, systematic and scoping reviews, theoretical and conceptual studies, methods papers, protocols, data and resource reports, and research notes that make a clear contribution within its scope.
