Article processing charges (APC)

Transparent, acceptance-only fees that support open-access publication. No charge to read. No charge to submit. No hidden fees.

When fees apply: An APC is invoiced only after a manuscript is accepted following peer review. Submitting and reading remain free.

Pricing (Saudi Riyal — SAR)

Standard publication	1,500 SAR	Open-access publication, DOI registration, metadata, formatting, and permanent hosting.
Publication with services	2,250 SAR	Everything in Standard, plus: graphical abstract design, language/study refinement, and dedicated editor services.

What an APC supports

Editorial coordination and peer-review management.
Professional production: formatting, metadata, DOI, and archiving.
Long-term open-access hosting and preservation of the published record.
For the services package: graphical abstract, editorial refinement, and production support.

Payment process — 72-hour window

When your manuscript is accepted, you will receive an APC invoice by email from Support@lumora.sa with:

Invoice number and accepted article details.
Bank transfer instructions (IBAN).
A copy of the official IBAN certificate attached for verification.

Payment must be completed within 72 hours (3 days) of the acceptance invoice by bank transfer. To proceed to production and publication, you must reply to the acceptance email with your transfer receipt (screenshot or bank confirmation). Without confirmed payment, production cannot begin.

No charge to read or submit

There is never a charge to read Lumora articles, and submitting a manuscript for consideration is free. APCs apply only to accepted articles, after peer review.

Waivers

Lumora considers APC waivers or reductions in cases of genuine financial need so that ability to pay does not determine the ability to publish. Contact the editorial office before acceptance is finalized to discuss eligibility.

Transparency

Lumora does not levy hidden or surprise charges. The APC amount and package are communicated before acceptance is finalized. Prices on this page apply unless a journal publishes a different approved rate on its own page.
