About the Journal

Lumora Saudi Journal of Desert Environments, Climate Resilience and Sustainability (LSJDECRS) is a Saudi, quarterly, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal. Its first publication year is 2025. Arid-land ecology, biodiversity, desertification, climate observations and modeling, adaptation, water resources, hydrology, air quality, pollution, conservation, restoration, environmental monitoring, renewable-energy environments, circularity, sustainability assessment and environmental governance, centered on Saudi Arabia and comparable drylands. Crop production, irrigation agronomy and food systems belong in the dryland agriculture journal; building design in the built-environment journal; infrastructure engineering in the engineering systems journal; and clinical environmental-health outcomes in the relevant Lumora health journal.

The journal publishes original research, systematic and scoping reviews, theoretical and conceptual studies, methods papers, protocols, data and resource reports, and research notes that make a clear contribution within its scope.
