Lumora Journal of Palliative Medicine and Serious Illness Care (LJPMSIC) is a Saudi, quarterly, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal. Its first publication year is 2025. Palliative medicine and serious-illness care across cancer, organ failure, neurological disease, frailty and pediatric conditions. The journal covers symptom assessment and management, communication, goals of care, advance care planning, decision support, psychosocial and spiritual care, caregiver support, hospice, bereavement, ethics, service integration, access, quality measurement and culturally responsive end-of-life care.
The journal publishes original research, systematic and scoping reviews, evidence syntheses, methods papers, protocols, brief reports, and clinically instructive reports that make a clear contribution within this scope. Published by Lumora in partnership with AHSS, it applies transparent editorial policies, responsible artificial-intelligence guidance, clear licensing, and international reporting and publication-ethics standards.
