Lumora Journal of Infectious Diseases, Clinical Microbiology and Infection Control (LJIDMIC) is a Saudi, quarterly, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal. Its first publication year is 2025. Bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic disease; clinical microbiology, diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance and stewardship; vaccination, travel and emerging infections. The journal covers infection prevention in healthcare, outbreak investigation, surveillance, host–pathogen interactions, immunocompromised hosts, One Health and implementation of evidence-based infection-control programs.
The journal publishes original research, systematic and scoping reviews, evidence syntheses, methods papers, protocols, brief reports, and clinically instructive reports that make a clear contribution within this scope. Published by Lumora in partnership with AHSS, it applies transparent editorial policies, responsible artificial-intelligence guidance, clear licensing, and international reporting and publication-ethics standards.
