About the Journal
Lumora Journal of Health Professions Education and Simulation (LJHPES) is a Saudi, quarterly, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal. Its first publication year is 2025. Undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education across medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry and allied health; curriculum design, competency frameworks, assessment, accreditation and faculty development. The journal also covers simulation, interprofessional learning, workplace-based education, educational technology, learner wellbeing, program evaluation and implementation research.
The journal publishes original research, systematic and scoping reviews, evidence syntheses, methods papers, protocols, brief reports, and clinically instructive reports that make a clear contribution within this scope. Published by Lumora in partnership with AHSS, it applies transparent editorial policies, responsible artificial-intelligence guidance, clear licensing, and international reporting and publication-ethics standards.
