About the Journal

Lumora Journal of Emergency Medicine and Acute Care (LJEMAC) is a Saudi, quarterly, double-anonymized peer-reviewed, open-access journal. Its first publication year is 2025. Emergency medicine, acute diagnostics, resuscitation, trauma, toxicology, prehospital and emergency medical services, observation care and time-critical pathways. The journal covers point-of-care testing and ultrasound, disaster and mass-casualty medicine, emergency nursing, pediatric and geriatric emergencies, crowding, triage, safety and outcomes across acute-care systems.

The journal publishes original research, systematic and scoping reviews, evidence syntheses, methods papers, protocols, brief reports, and clinically instructive reports that make a clear contribution within this scope. Published by Lumora in partnership with AHSS, it applies transparent editorial policies, responsible artificial-intelligence guidance, clear licensing, and international reporting and publication-ethics standards.
